Because it's our home.We are not comfortable opening our private residence to members of the public, and we do not believe that allowing people into our home is necessary to demonstrate that we provide appropriate care. Our household, our personal animals, and the animals in our care all deserve a safe and controlled environment. Limiting access to the property helps us maintain that environment while also protecting our privacy and security. We are happy to be transparent about our program, policies, animal care standards, quarantine procedures, and how the Second Chance Program operates. However, transparency does not mean providing public access to our home.If you are adopting or surrendering an animal, you are welcome to ask reasonable questions about our program before proceeding. You do not need to enter our home to have confidence in the standards we operate by, and we do not need to compromise our household's privacy to provide responsible rescue services.
